A different take on a well known Biblical passage. This story will captivate, encourage, and convict you! I loved reading the different characters perspectives and especially loved Martha's tale. Make sure to give this one a read!

Excellent!
Captivating. Well written. Brought to life an age old story. You really get into the head of these characters. The Marys story is certainly plausible and adds a deeper dimension to the outcome.

In Vain Glory, Bryan Canter takes readers through very real and challenging circumstances husbands and wives often face as they navigate life. Elevating the struggle of figuring out the needs, communication styles and desires of a partner, it is hard to put the story down. Canter leaves no stone unturned as he also addresses challenges in raising children and dealing with in-laws. The plot moves readers from anger to heartbreak, but the storytelling will keep you rooting for this marriage to be saved. I highly recommend this book.

Captivating. Excellent historical fiction written with a seemingly poetic flair as Flora finds her true identity through a journey of rituals and exploration while deciphering truth from deception in her journey as a healer as she sacrifices for her people and finds herself and her true identity.
